Why We Cost What We Cost

Quality work. Transparent pricing. No shortcuts.

1. We don't compete to be the cheapest — we compete to be the best

Cheap quotes usually mean:

We price our work so it can be done properly, safely, and to a standard we’re proud to put our name on.

2. You're paying for work that lasts

Most repair jobs we get called out to fix come from installations done cheaply:

These “bargain” jobs end up costing customers far more in the long run. We price to avoid those problems entirely.

3. Our quotes include everything — no hidden extras

Every quote covers:

Full rip‑out and disposal
All new pipework
Correct preparation (subfloors, boarding, levelling)
Quality materials
Plumbing, carpentry, electrics, and finishing
Waste removal
A 12‑month workmanship guarantee

When we give you a price, it’s the real price — not a low number designed to win the job and grow later.

4. We use proper materials, not budget alternatives

We don’t install:

We use materials that are proven to last, because your home deserves better than the cheapest option on the shelf.

5. We take the time to do the job right

A high‑quality installation requires:

We don’t rush. We don’t cut corners. We don’t leave problems hidden behind tiles or panels.

6. We're fully insured, qualified, and accountable

Your quote includes the cost of running a safe, professional business:

These aren’t “extras” — they’re what keep you protected.

7. You get a professional service from start to finish

With us, you can expect:

We treat every home as if it were our own.

8. You're paying for value — not just labour

You’re not just paying for someone to “fit a bathroom” or “swap a boiler.” You’re paying for:

And that’s worth doing properly.

We cost what we cost because we do the job right.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A top service throughout! Needed a replacement power shower as the old one packed in. Harley was able to sort this over the Christmas period and very happy with the upgraded end product.
The work was completed at a reasonable price, but a high standard. Will be contacting Harley in the future for any plumbing/heating jobs we need.
Many thanks 👍
